With the April Levy results are final, the voters of DuPont rejected for a second time the attempt of the City Council and Mayor to increase taxes to outsource our Fire Protection.  DuPont Citizens for Responsible Emergency Services (DC4RES) has been vocal on building sustainable Fire Department with existing taxes with minimal external support. You may review the DC4RES Proposal link to the left to see our most current proposal for long term, city wide Fire Protection.  Please realize that we are trying to provide sustainable options at an acceptable level of service for the entire city, not just specific regions.

Also, we have received some interest via email from citizens interested in volunteering with the Fire Department. So, we would like to compile an unofficial list of citizens that would be willing to volunteer whether that is as a Volunteer Fire Fighter, EMS Responder, or in a Support Position.
