Former ace bowler charged with rape

MALACCA: A former national bowling youth champion was charged in the Sessions Court yesterday with raping an underage girl. Nor Afizal Azizan, 19, was alleged to have raped a 13-year-old girl in room 225, Kings Hotel in Ayer Keroh here last month. Deputy public prosecutor Ifa Sirrhu Samsudin applied for bail to be set at RM10,000 in one surety and for a new mention date as they had not received the medical report.
