Dave’s quick pit-stop for sister Clare

THE Prime Minister popped in briefly for a postwedding reception for his sister Clare and husband Jeremy Fawcus at Searcy’s in Knightsbridge.

“It was just a small cocktail party for 100 or so, given by her father,” says a guest. “David came by chauffeur-driven car at about 7pm. He was there for less than half an hour.

The party went on until 9pm.

There were no speeches but lots of wedding photographs were shown. It was a low-key family affair.”
